the last paper

few more days until the last paper then it's holiday time!! HOHO

Me and my groupmates have decided to loosen up a bit and head to Ipoh before our finals,
this Saturday that is. WOOHOO!!

Final Exam

the only reason that i have been so free (not so, actually) lately is because it is the end of our first trimester and next week we'll be having our study week. which then comes the final exam. whee!! i'm friggin pumped and excited, not because of finals but because of the holidays that comes after that. LOL. and the only subjects that i should worry about is accounting and economics. i think there ain't much to worry about the others anyways ;)

ever since the barlist has been released, we've been cutting lectures and tutorials. mostly we cut computer studies and english anyways, can't blame us that it's boring. hehe. this is how the situation is like before and after the barlist was released.

BEFORE..
A : I think we shouldn't cut class lo, later kena bar need to retake again.
B : Yalo, sien also bo huat. Go lecture hall sleep ba.

AFTER..
A : Ehh, later want go lecture ahh?
B : See how first la. Got mood we go, no mood then we don't go la.

This doesn't apply to ALL the subjects. Out of the six subjects we NEVER skip General Mass Communication, Introduction to Accounting and Economics. Sometimes we decide to attend a lecture in the early morning, but in the end we got so lazy to wake up we just continue sleeping until near noon. LOL

We have exactly one week until our finals.

of WTF and timetables

here's a story about how timetables made all of us here in UTAR went WTF!

earlier ago, we were told that we have arrange our own timetables starting from the second semester. that is why everybody in the original tutorial class for this sem is gonna be seperated. but i guess you can say that we people in the same gang slash groups-for-assignments wanna stick together so that it'd be easier to work our assignments on the following semester. and we began planning our timetable, then we're ready for war.
in other words, fight for our desired timetable.

so we were told that we will be able to register our timetable starting on the 31st of August 2009 at 0800 (GMT+8). and ALL of us, and i seriously mean ALL of us from UTAR woke up early in the morning getting ready to register our timetables.

it was then 0759 and we were all counting down to the very last minute at the homepage.
and once the time hit 0800, we started clicking.
unfortunately, no one could get in anymore, the page just died off. seriously.

so here's how it was like..

and this is the time where we all went...



at that very moment you could see UTARians swearing all over facebook. they made us wake so friggin early in the morning to wait for the opening time and when the time comes they gave all all this system down crap. most of us were saying, FUCK YOU! to whoever is in charge with the registeration site. it couldn't even hold the traffic then it ran away. and the worst thing is, it was Independence Day so no one will be working and no one will be able to fix this whole crap. OMFG!

here's one of the most beautiful words i have ever seen before :

and at about 10am, the site reappeared (miraculously)! and we were all rushing to do our registerations like mad. once i was done with mine and after double checking in a mere fifteen minutes, the site died out.....again. and ya you guessed it. this is where we all go...

some (like me) were lucky enough to have been able to finish the registeration.
some almost made it to the finish line but apparently couldn't make it with one subject left.
some didn't even know about the 'miracle' that happened.

the day ended quite well when someone found out the secrets to accessing the registeration site. and there are TWO secrets to it :

01 : One MUST use Mozilla Firefox to access the site.
02 : One MUST add an alphabet 's' at the end of the 'http'

(so it would be https:// instead of http://)
from this : 'http://unitreg.utar.edu.my.....'
to this : 'https://unitreg.utar.edu.my.....'

makes you wanna go WTF! ain't it?

and ya, we had a "wonderful" independence day.

Look Who's Back

Hello everyone. I know it has been ages since i have ever made an entry here,
but hey it's a new month and i'm back! ;)

For the previous months i have been busy with assignments and presentations, and i figured why not i update since i'm already done with everything now? Lol. Sadly the final exams are just around the corner, 2 weeks to be exact O.O!

It's September now and i've just arrived in Kampar from a four days holiday due to Independence Day. HOHO, talking about taking advantages. And there's this one song i thing of when it comes to September, 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' by Greenday. You can't blame me for even remembering this song coz' my fellow Alzabbarrrians were jamming this song last weekend. (All thanks to Laisin and Chunwen, now it's stuck in my head)
