the only reason that i have been so free (not so, actually) lately is because it is the end of our first trimester and next week we'll be having our study week. which then comes the final exam. whee!! i'm friggin pumped and excited, not because of finals but because of the holidays that comes after that. LOL. and the only subjects that i should worry about is accounting and economics. i think there ain't much to worry about the others anyways ;)

ever since the barlist has been released, we've been cutting lectures and tutorials. mostly we cut computer studies and english anyways, can't blame us that it's boring. hehe. this is how the situation is like before and after the barlist was released.

BEFORE..
A : I think we shouldn't cut class lo, later kena bar need to retake again.
B : Yalo, sien also bo huat. Go lecture hall sleep ba.

AFTER..
A : Ehh, later want go lecture ahh?
B : See how first la. Got mood we go, no mood then we don't go la.

This doesn't apply to ALL the subjects. Out of the six subjects we NEVER skip General Mass Communication, Introduction to Accounting and Economics. Sometimes we decide to attend a lecture in the early morning, but in the end we got so lazy to wake up we just continue sleeping until near noon. LOL

We have exactly one week until our finals.

of WTF and timetables

here's a story about how timetables made all of us here in UTAR went WTF!

earlier ago, we were told that we have arrange our own timetables starting from the second semester. that is why everybody in the original tutorial class for this sem is gonna be seperated. but i guess you can say that we people in the same gang slash groups-for-assignments wanna stick together so that it'd be easier to work our assignments on the following semester. and we began planning our timetable, then we're ready for war.
in other words, fight for our desired timetable.

so we were told that we will be able to register our timetable starting on the 31st of August 2009 at 0800 (GMT+8). and ALL of us, and i seriously mean ALL of us from UTAR woke up early in the morning getting ready to register our timetables.

it was then 0759 and we were all counting down to the very last minute at the homepage.
and once the time hit 0800, we started clicking.
unfortunately, no one could get in anymore, the page just died off. seriously.

so here's how it was like..

diagram 01 : we were at the login then we logged in and wait.

diagram 02 : this is what we got once the clock hit 0800.

and this is the time where we all went...

at that very moment you could see UTARians swearing all over facebook. they made us wake so friggin early in the morning to wait for the opening time and when the time comes they gave all all this system down crap. most of us were saying, FUCK YOU! to whoever is in charge with the registeration site. it couldn't even hold the traffic then it ran away. and the worst thing is, it was Independence Day so no one will be working and no one will be able to fix this whole crap. OMFG!

here's one of the most beautiful words i have ever seen before :

and at about 10am, the site reappeared (miraculously)! and we were all rushing to do our registerations like mad. once i was done with mine and after double checking in a mere fifteen minutes, the site died out.....again. and ya you guessed it. this is where we all go...

some (like me) were lucky enough to have been able to finish the registeration.
some almost made it to the finish line but apparently couldn't make it with one subject left.
some didn't even know about the 'miracle' that happened.

the day ended quite well when someone found out the secrets to accessing the registeration site. and there are TWO secrets to it :

01 : One MUST use Mozilla Firefox to access the site.
02 : One MUST add an alphabet 's' at the end of the 'http'

(so it would be https:// instead of http://)
from this : 'http://unitreg.utar.edu.my.....'
to this : 'https://unitreg.utar.edu.my.....'

makes you wanna go WTF! ain't it?

Hello everyone. I know it has been ages since i have ever made an entry here,
but hey it's a new month and i'm back! ;)

For the previous months i have been busy with assignments and presentations, and i figured why not i update since i'm already done with everything now? Lol. Sadly the final exams are just around the corner, 2 weeks to be exact O.O!

It's September now and i've just arrived in Kampar from a four days holiday due to Independence Day. HOHO, talking about taking advantages. And there's this one song i thing of when it comes to September, 'Wake Me Up When September Ends' by Greenday. You can't blame me for even remembering this song coz' my fellow Alzabbarrrians were jamming this song last weekend. (All thanks to Laisin and Chunwen, now it's stuck in my head)

finally my first post from Kampar. and no it's not about college it's about FOOD!! =D

weiwan, pengkim and i went to the Fook Kee restaurant at Kampar town yesterday. (please don't think of anything unnecessary even thought the name sounds F*ckee. lmao) in chinese it's called 福记饭店. the restaurant only has one main dish, which is its famous claypot rice (沙煲饭). just to clarify in case getting myself sued, lawl,
it's ONE OF the famous claypot rice restaurant here ;)

and it comes which a reasonable price. hehe.
now, lets let the pictures do the talking.

until national service, 28th of December 2008.

as we all know, i have only a few days left then i'm off to national service. and i know, it's lame. it's going to be quite an experience to be heading to the national service for the first and the LAST time (thank goodness), who knows what they'd want us to do there? and BTW, the sound of 'M16 practices' doesn't really seem promising at all.

after consulting my cousin sister who once attended NS few years back, she gave me a head start of what i NEED to bring and what WILL be done there. but all i could remember is her telling me to bring cup-noodles, biscuits, mini electric kettle and food food FOOD!! lmao. i think i remember her telling me about daily wake-up(s) at 5am, where the Islam do their prayers while WE get to bathe!! YES!! early shower!! some people also said there's only going to be curry or gulai everyday, WTF!! sien nia. luckily i'm a highly advanced trained mamak consumer!! THANK YOU PELITA!! lol. i wonder what else do i need to bring? lets see, food, kettle, soap, detergent, loads of tees, few pants.. i'm going to be 18 and this is like a punishment for me, to be washing clothes without a washing machine?! WTF. total stone aged laaa!! at least i only hafta wash my own casuals, they provide laundry service for the uniforms. totally lammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmme.

whenever i think of NS, i think of me becoming a baldie!! *GASPS* hahaha. like i'd care being a baldie anyways. hair will grow back, eventually. goodness, i can't imagine having to be doing marching all over again!! it was bad enough to have to do it during school band days and i have to FUCKING do it AGAIN!! adui,

it's been pretty much long enough since my last update. which was because of all that band schedule, band schedule and MORE band schedule. thank goodness the pre-tour concert has ended.

now i can FINALLY get enough sleep!!

as we all know, spm is now far from us (thank goodness).

The plot centers on a fish-girl (aka. mermaid) named Ponyo who desperately wants to be a human. In pursuing her goal, she befriends a five-year-old human boy, Sōsuke.

A girl fish who runs away from her home in the sea. She ends up stranded on the shore and is rescued by Sōsuke, a five year old boy who lives on a cliff. Sōsuke names her Ponyo after taking a great liking to her, and promises to protect her forever. Meanwhile, her father, Fujimoto, is looking for his daughter, upset that she ran away. He calls his wave demons and has them take Ponyo back to him, since it seems he has an aversion to land. Sōsuke is heartbroken by this, and goes home crying to his mother, Risa. the whole thing is, it's plot is pretty similar to The Little Mermaid. but well, this IS Miyazaki-san's work. if he can make a movie by adapting a classic novel (Howl's Moving Castle), i think this one would be as good as Spirited Away. and he hand drawn the scenery of this movie too, according to wiki'.

just recently when i thought Desperate Housewives was still airing on 8TV, it turns out that it had already ended
and now Ghost Whisperer the third season is being aired.
so i thought, gahh what the heck, i'll watch it anyways. and it turn out to be quite surprisingly nice series,
though i missed the previous two seasons. LOL.

chiapei's outburst

everyone thought it would be a typical friday and to my class' dismay, it wasn't ANY typical friday. why? coz chiapei was breathing fire
and went KABOOM!! today.

a brief intro before we begin ..

-this is chiapei
-he is mentally unstable (no offence)
-loves all the warheits (war) stuff
-kinda worship hitler
-is unable to control his emotional state
(tends to have the urge to "murder unwanted human kind")

well, that's just about it. if it wasn't for that,
he's just pretty much a normal kid whose loves to write novels.

lets begin, it was one period before recess which was
add maths period with ms teh pk.

and isaac (aka. mr vanity .. LOL)

was trying to get to cheeyang who sits behind me
to pass his homework over to him. which he had to
get over chiapei's bag by jumping over it.
and kinda made a slight stomp too.

(i'm located two sits behind chiapei who's the first in the row, and i saw EVERYTHING)

isaac walked back the same way, which he passed by chiapei again. and all of a sudden, chiapei just hit isaac in his belly (LOL).
and this is where it all began.

isaac : KNN!! why the hell you hit me for?
chiapei : because you scared me on purpose.
isaac : WTF!! i didn't even do anything to you!!
chiapei : ...

isaac grabs chiapei's bottle and walked a few steps away. chiapei stood up trying to grab his bottle back from isaac but failed. isaac then lightly threw the bottle back at chiapei walked pass by my row to the end of the classroom. because of isaac throwing the bottle at him, it initiated chiapei's berserker mode
aka. "the beast within"

(which i have no better pictures to describe in but these .. hehe)
(but seriously, he was really bursting into a monster)

knowing that he was unable to win isaac in then little race, chiapei who was still holding on to his fully undrank water bottle, and threw it right at isaac. and through our class professional gamers' analysis, the status was like WHOA!! see below.

luckily the 250ml bottle only hit the ground and missed isaac with just a few centimetre's, coz' the bottle made quite a landing with that loud WHAM on the floor. chiapei was OUT OF CONTROL. with a monstrous expression and an uncontrollable anger with him, chiapei went thru' his breast pocket and brought out his penknife.

weiwan (known for his major strength and chiapei-controlling skills)

who sat next to me, didn't really notice what was going on as he was reading the newspaper. after several times trying to nudge him into the situation, weiwan finally stood up and grabbed chiapei tightly from his back. chiapei was like a monster being chained up, breathing in his deep monstrous breath. and he was panting and practically howling like a mad beast!!

ms teh then went over to calm him down. which would work better if she had not called him by the wrong name .. LOL.

they (CP and Isaac) were then sent to the discipline office with ms T along. and the come back result wasn't as what we all expected. both of them has gotten K.I.V (keep in view) along with a small demerit. and apparently all of us think that it is pretty unfair for isaac.

after all that (10minutes before recess ended) it was the time where all the attraction begins. who knew even without the presence of cellphones, the news would've spread out so fast. during that time, practically the whole form 5 student body gathered at our classroom to see the school's current "centre of attraction" aka. chiapei. it was like a zoo visit just the fact that they were there just to see chiapei or maybe even makes things worst. some came to console him and some just came over to humiliate him by surrounding and screaming at him like WOOOOT!!

it was a boring afternoon at Queensbay mall yesterday when the cinema was flooded with people lining up. and the four of us, J, Winson, Ashley and i loitering around the mall drinking coffee with no specific place to go to. it was only 430 in the afternoon and we thought it would be fun if we just head out to the McD drive-thru' at the Greenlane outlet. and this is where the fun begins.

Ashley who just came back from Canada for her summer vacation had a part-time job at McD back at Canada. so she was like,
Lemme do the ordering, i know the order system.
and i said okay. then the little sketch comedy begins here.

Man at counter : Hi, welcome to Mcdonalds. May i take your order?

Ashley : Umm.. hi. Give me a McChicken.

Man at counter : Only the burger?

Ashley : Yes.

Just because of the whole "half-mayo and leaf lettuce", we held up a queue of almost 5 to 6 cars behind ours. We were all going like WTF!! and LMAO!! xD

and later after travelling almost half the Panang island in my car. we headed back to Ashley's place to get ready for the gathering she put up to. which most of us talked, played cards, jenga and all those other card games all night. hehe.

A Wedding Disaster

Back in 12052OO8
It was a day to remember...

Their Wedding shoot.

At the famous 1OO-year-old Church of the
Annunciation in Pengzhou , China .

Very early morning May 12, photographer Wang went preparing to shoot wedding pictures for a young couple, this was the test shot before the shoot...

Pengzhou is located in the Sichuan province.
It was morning May 12, 2OO8.

And then it happened.... the earth quake!
7.8 on the Richter scale.

Bricks fall from the building during the earthquake, which turned Wang from a wedding photographer into a journalist.

'Thank God we were only shooting from outside the church!'
remarked a helper.

The stunned couple huddles together at the church ground during initial tremors.

'I shouted to people, ''Run! Run!'' said photographer Wang. 'The ground shook and we couldn't see anything in the dust.'

As the dust began to clear, the true extent of damage was only beginning to appear...

A cracked facade was all that remained of the 1OO-year-old Church of the Annunciation after the quake. Most of the church 'collapsed in 1O seconds,' said Wang, who lives in Chengdu , capital of hard-hit Sichuan province.

Soon after the quake, the people at the seminary set out for a nearby village, but residents warned them the route was blocked. 'We could still hear landslides,' Wang wrote in an online account of the disaster. So they stayed overnight in a tent and made it to the village the next day, thanks to help from a truck driver.

A scarf from a wedding dress lies forgotten in front of the seminary. Wang said he thought the catastrophe would strengthen the bonds of the couples who were there that day: 'Having gone through a life-and-death test, they surely will clasp hands and grow old together.'

No one was harmed at the above location.

They'll sure have a Wild story to tell there Children!

as i said, i attended the ichibanzai at KDU
last sunday .. which wasn't pretty much fun at all ..
